This week, every pupil in our school took part in the 2026 Big Schools’ Birdwatch, joining thousands of children across the UK in one of the largest wildlife surveys for young people. Over three one-hour sessions, we managed to count a total of 61 birds of 17 different species. Our findings have been submitted to the RSPB to support their national survey, helping track the wellbeing of the UK’s bird populations.
