Playground Revamp

A big thank you to the parents and members of the community who helped to brighten up the playground over the holidays. Woodwork has been treated, playground markings have been repainted and the mural on the climbing wall has been refreshed.

Additional Dates for the Diary

Term dates and diary have been updated on the “Parents” page of the website. Full information about events will be sent out as necessary nearer the time of the event via Class Dojo, so please look out for this. Dates for sporting activities and clubs to be added shortly.

Snow Thursday 9th March

Stretton Handley CE Primary School In the snow

The snow continues and the roads outside are white. We are going to do an early lunch for the children at 11.30am. If you would like to pick up your child after 12.00pm, they will have had lunch and may go home. Absence will be authorised. School will remain open for the time being. We will continue to monitor the situation and may close later to allow staff who have further to travel home safely. Very many thanks,

New School Video Tour

We are delighted to be able to share our new school video tour, commissioned at the end of last term.

National Bank Holiday

Following the sad news of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, you will be aware that Monday 19th September, the day of Her Majesty’s funeral, will be a bank holiday. We will be following the advice from the DFE and school will be closed on Monday.

New School Year!

Just a reminder that Thursday 1st September and Friday 2nd September are INSET days. We are looking forward to welcoming the children back to school on Monday 5th September.
