We are proud to share the final report from our recent SIAMS inspection. The outcome is incredibly positive, and our staff are delighted. We would like to extend our thanks to parents and carers, governors, the local community, the church, and of course, our wonderful children for making our school amazing.

Well Dressing 2025

The 2025 Brackenfield Well dressing and Flower Festival took place over the Spring Bank holiday and our board, “Creation”, was on display. Our well dressing page has been updated.

Playground Revamp

Fri, 6th Sep 2024

A big thank you to the parents and members of the community who helped to brighten up the playground over the holidays. Woodwork has been treated, playground markings have been repainted and the mural on the climbing wall has been refreshed.

School Closure 10th March 2023

Due to heavy snow fall across Derbyshire last night and for the safety of staff and pupils, we have made the decision to close school today.

We have provided home learning tasks in the file – choose at your leisure or work through them if you need more of a structure. I’d definitely suggest starting with snow play and see how long it takes. Stay safe and enjoy!
