We checked out each box for evidence of nesting activity from the previous season. The location of each of these boxes can be viewed on <a title=\"Bird Box Locations\" href=\"https:\/\/www.strettonhandley.derbyshire.sch.uk\/wildlife\/bird-box-locations\/\">Google Maps<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sparrow terrace 1 &#8211; two of the three sections had shallow grassy nests (Sparrow?)<br \/>\nCorner field box &#8211; mainly grassy nest (Sparrow?)<br \/>\nSilver Birch Box &#8211; full nest of mainly moss (probably Blue Tit)<br \/>\nB&amp;W birdcam box &#8211; full box, mainly dried grass and feathers (Tree Sparrow nest)<br \/>\nButler Box &#8211; no nest<br \/>\nStaff car park box &#8211; mainly mossy nest (Blue Tit)<br \/>\nSycamore tree box &#8211; inaccessible, unable to clean out<br \/>\nPond box &#8211; inaccessible, unable to clean out<br \/>\nBird table roof &#8211; Great Tit nest, not able to clean out<br \/>\nOpen fronted nest box &#8211; Robin nest<br \/>\nColour birdcam box &#8211; droppings left by roosting Great Tit (did not clean out)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The last day of term brought a break in the recent rainy weather, so Mr Marriot kindly visited each nest box to clean them out.
