| It is a small broadleaf tree which usually grows as a shrub. It can grow up to 10m tall. | |||||||||||||
| It has a compound leaf with five or seven leaflets. The leaflets have toothed edges. | |||||||||||||

| It's bark looks old and crinkly. | |||||||||||||
| It has many little white flowers which grow in a bunch and they smell sweet. They are used to make wine. In Autumn it has lots of small purple berries, which can be made into jam or wine. | |||||||||||||
