PS3 online and other things

May 17th, 2010 by HOT DOG DUDE 3! · Game

free-playstation3PS3 online is awesome. You get to meet other people around the world and play with your mates!! To do this you need Internet connection. You can buy different games and also download map packs and wallpapers from the Playstation store.  It is way better than xbox360 because it is free!

The controllers are wireless and very comfy to hold. They have to  be charged once in a while with the black charger that comes free with it. When you buy games sometimes they  have to be  installed. The PS3 slim is now available but I don’t see the point in getting one of them  because they are really the same as the normal ones. Therefore, I would not spend more on a slim.  I would recommend the 160GB model because the higher memory supports PS2 games .

Fifa 10 (D.S)

April 27th, 2010 by dodecahedron · Game, Reviews

Fifa 10 is a football game its brill. The graphics are great  – it’s just like real football!- you even get to create your own team, and create your own pro player. FOOTIE FANS YOU WILL THINK IT’S GREAT!

The controls are easy to master and it’s two player (wireless connection), the only problem is the players kick the ball the wrong way even if you’re in front of the opponents net it would shoot the wrong way.

The tricks you can do are brilliant you can megs people (put it through peoples legs) , flick the ball over your head, do step overs ( make other people think you’re going the other way with the ball) and lots of other tricks.

You can take penalties, free kicks,  throw ins, goal kicks and corners.

Lea Green :)

April 27th, 2010 by greengirl734 · School Trips

On May the 19th – 21st Yr 4, 5, 6, will be going on a school trip to Lea Green. Lea Green is brilliant, everyone enjoys it even if they’re in a bad mood. (You stay there 2 nights, three days).

IT’S THE Y6s LAST TIME AT LEA GREEN THIS YEAR :’( BUT WE WILL BE MAKING SURE IT’S THE BEST YEAR.

Some things there you will remember and laugh about on random days and some things you will forget but other people will remember. Everyone enjoys different activities there but no matter how old you are, everyone ( mostly ) enjoys it and everyone has their favourite moments. Even the teachers enjoy it but everyone has something they don’t like, it could be the food or a specific activity whatever it is don’t worry you’ll just laugh about it in the end as well as anything painful, right? - LillyBlossom, Dancefiver, Fudge balls , Bubbles. :)

Trialing

March 26th, 2010 by mokicm · Hobbies and interests, Sport

modified gasgasTrialing is a sport where you ride a trials bike [motor bike]through a section. but to do trialing you need a trials bike e.g. Gasgas,  Beta,  Sherco,  Montesa ,  Ossa, or Ty8o. In a section, you follow a series of flags where you go over rough terrain e.g rocks, banks, tight corners.

My dad was a 3 years on the trot  British champion, he stopped when he had children :(   My brother and I do the sport with our friend  every Sunday, you have to practice at least once or twice a week because you won’t get anywhere if you don’t .

It is in the regulations that you need gloves, a helmet, boots , long sleeved top and full length trousers to ride.

When going  through a section Observers mark the scores for every time you put your foot/feet down(so try and keep them up).

You can start at 6 years old but you need to be a member of the ACU. See further details on their website www.acu.org.uk

Modern Warfare 2 Prestige and Snipers

March 26th, 2010 by pepsi maximun · Game

cod mw2On Modern Warfare 2 I am prestige 4 level 20, I prestiged 8.02.10. The snipers are called intervention and Barret 50 calibr. I have in fall that’s the hardest colour to get. Modern warfare 2 is a shooting game  1 to 4 player or on network 2 to 18 players. You can replay missions you have all ready done and you can select any mission you you have done you can select a difficulty from recruit easy medium and hard

This game is available for xbox360,ps3,nintendo wii .

The cost of the game varies in price.  whilst playing the game you can unlock new weapons and attachment, perks and rank up to the maximum which is 10th prestige level 70. You also can use the mission select option to replay an already completed mission at any difficulty, you are able to choose between story, special ops and  multi player as  well as view your completion percentage for each game. Various weapons are available such as AK47 M4A1, which are guns.  While working through each level you can earn rewards and achieve trophies.

I really enjoy playing this game because it tests my skills and I have to concentrate, sometimes it can be a little stressful. I would recommend this game but you have to be patient if you keep getting killed.

Having a bearded dragon

March 22nd, 2010 by fudge balls · Animals, Hobbies and interests

A bearded dragon is a lizard that comes from the wild in the Australian desert. It makes a good pet because they can be tamed and they don’t bite. They are kept in a tank with a heat light to keep the temperature  hot (25-30°C) . They also need to have a normal light to help them see around  the tank . They have logs and rocks so they don’t get bored  and have somewhere to shelter and hide.  they have Sand on the bottom of the tank to make it look like desert and it’s easier to clean the poo and the wee up.

They eat locus, crickets , mealworms and lettuce. They should get fed two insects in the day and three in the night. They also have a  food bowl  for lettuce and they have a water bowl for water. This gets a bit dirty, so you might need to clean it out once in a while.

About horse riding

March 19th, 2010 by bubbles · Hobbies and interests

Horse riding is a hobby for all ages but you usually start young. If  you are a beginner you have a leader – a leader is someone who stands next to you or holds on to the horse. When you get on to the horse, you hold on to the reigns and put your three middle fingers in front of reigns and your thumb and little finger behind. At the same time you put your feet in the stirrups with your heels down and your toes up.

I like horse riding because you get to go out and do something instead of staying in and doing nothing! I also like it because its fun and you can go on different horses every time you go.  I would recommend Alton riding school, there are nice horses and they are well looked after.

MODERN WARFARE 2!

March 1st, 2010 by Cheese block · Game, Reviews

This brill game is  great  for call of duty (COD) fans, it’s got online play and great graphics. It’s one of the countries most played games and is particularly great for army fans. There is a new gamemode called spec ops. For ps3 I think it’s the best, it takes from call of duty 4 . The Theme is about the the taskforce 141  and US army Rangers. IT’S  AN ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE! (BEST ON PS3)………
