So a happy and busy year draws to a close! Due to a flash flood, which interrupted our end of term disco and nearly washed our school away, we were unable to enjoy our last day together and say goodbye to our Year 6 children. We wish Jonathan, Shelby, Sharni, Harriet, Adam H, Adam B and Thomas every happiness and success at their new schools and hope they will come in to see us when they have time. | |
Magna Science ParkYears 3 & 4 enjoyed a visit to Magna in Rotherham. Some of the favourite attractions were the robots and the different tornadoes (fire and air). The children loved getting wet in the water area! |

Come on the Rams!Junior children had a fantastic tour around Derby County's Pride Park stadium. They gained an insight into the running of a top football club from the boardroom; sampled the view of the pitch from the terraces; visited the "not so smelly" changing rooms and tried their hand at a penalty shoot out to win a signed programme. All children were given a copy of an old programme and the school received a signed football to raffle to cover the cost of the coach. |
Upper Junior children had an action packed end of term with a Science activity day at Lea Green and a Sports taster session at Tupton Hall School. Year 6 children also experienced induction days at their chosen secondary schools. |
