Stretton Handley Primary School is a small village school, with around 52 pupils, situated on the edge of the Peak district in Derbyshire close to Ogston Reservoir. We cater for children from 4 to 11 years of age, organised into three classes. We have three classrooms and a central, well-equipped hall. We also have hardcourt playgrounds and extensive grassed playing fields with trees and a pond. |

The school, which is set in rural surroundings, has developed
a local history/nature walk, "The Woolley Moor Trail". This walk is enjoyed
by many visitors to the area and an online
version of the trail can be viewed on this web site.
