"Picasso Style" Portraits

"The Sailor" by Picasso was the inspiration for these dramatic pieces of work. The children worked with a partner to create double portraits. They made the work by combining pieces from two drawings. They studied the shapes in the Picasso and enjoyed painting in a "similar" way with wild colours!

ICT Link

Children took a "passport" style photograph of each other using the school's digital camera. The children then used a passport template set up in Textease, to design their own passport. Younger children were able to use a word bank to enter some of their details. A thumbprint was added (to make it unique) before laminating the finished passport for a professional appearance.
