Governor information

Welcome to the Governor section of Stretton Handley Church Of England Primary School website.

Every school has a governing body to represent the public and community in the running of the school. School governors at Stretton Handley bring perspectives from their life and work to strive for excellence in the care and education of all children at the school. All school governors at Stretton Handley volunteer their time to work in partnership with the Headteacher to oversee the strategic development of the school with a common goal to provide a high standard, well-rounded education for all pupils, whatever their ability or needs.

We hope that you find the information in this section useful and if you want to get in touch with governors please leave a message with the school office.

All governors complete ‘declarations of pecuniary and business interests’ forms on appointment and annually at the first FGB of each academic year. This is also an agenda item at the beginning of all FGB and committee meetings so that governors can update information or withdraw for parts of meetings if necessary. There were no business interests declared for 2017-18 by previous or current governors.
